"This truck was purchased used from the Vernon Volunteer Fire Department in Vernon, Vermont in 2001.  This truck filled the gap between the 1972 Chevrolet pumper and the 2008 Pierce pumper.  The truck is a 1972 Ford L900/Hahn pumper with a 1,000 gallon tank.  The truck was retired from service in 2008.",
